The iPhone keyboard likes to think it's smart. After all, it learns words and grammar over time based on your typing habits. While this provides incredible convenience, sometimes automatic suggestions and autocorrect don't work as expected. If you find the iPhone dictionary suggesting the wrong spellings, or otherwise causing more harm than good, the keyboard history can be cleared.
Finally, it's the moment everyone has been waiting for. Native support for the Dvorak keyboard layout on iPhone is here. Apple quietly added the Dvorak keyboard to iOS 16. Some readers may be asking, what is the Dvorak keyboard and why would I want to use it?
The iPhone keyboard has a built-in shortcut key to type the degree (º) symbol. For example, when typing temperatures (ºC or ºF) or location coordinates in degrees (39.89º) this key can be used.
Long press the zero number key (0) to reveal the degree symbol. Slide your finger over to the degree symbol (º) and release it to type this symbol in any app.

By default, Apple uses sound effects to register each keystroke, in the form of audible clicks that can be turned off for peace and quiet. Apple reinstated the classic dial picker in apps such as Calendar and Clock with the release of iOS 15. Many iPhone fans find the large dials easier to use, and don't miss the previous design. For those who prefer a shortcut, the ability to enter a time or date with the number pad has not gone away. The feature may be hidden, however there's a simple way to quickly bring up the keypad.
