Pull down on the iOS 7 home screen and Spotlight reveals an empty text field titled "Search iPhone". While this can be a helpful feature to find something in a hurry, developer DarkMalloc had another idea. Why not make the Spotlight screen even more useful by adding favorite contacts into the mix?
Jailbreakers can grab the tweak QuickContacts for $1.99 and do just that. Once installed, there are no options to configure. The tweak simply adds four contact shortcuts directly to the Spotlight search screen. Pull down on the home screen and the contacts are revealed, then swipe from left to right if you need to use the Search iPhone field.

Cydia creator Jay Freeman, also known as Saurik, recently responded to a Reddit thread in which he was asked to list the tweaks and themes he has installed on his iPhone. With the introduction of the iPhone 5s, iPhone photographers gained two new tools in the stock camera app. Burst mode for taking and organizing rapid-fire shots, and slow motion video recording. Now thanks to developer PoomSmart, iPhone 5 owners with jailbroken devices running iOS 7 can enjoy these features, too.
Unlocking slow motion and burst mode on the iPhone 5 requires two packages to be installed from Cydia. These are appropriately named Slo-mo Mod and Burst Mode. The developer notes that in order for Slo-mo Mod to work, the Burst Mode tweak must also be installed. Getting these iPhone 5s camera improvements is simple once the iPhone 5 is jailbroken with evasion.
