Cydia creator Jay Freeman, also known as Saurik, recently responded to a Reddit thread in which he was asked to list the tweaks and themes he has installed on his iPhone. Freeman responded to the thread entitled "[Request] A list of Saurik’s tweaks and themes he currently has installed!" shortly after it was published by not only listing his installed tweaks, but answering a few questions as well.

With the introduction of the iPhone 5s, iPhone photographers gained two new tools in the stock camera app. Burst mode for taking and organizing rapid-fire shots, and slow motion video recording. Now thanks to developer PoomSmart, iPhone 5 owners with jailbroken devices running iOS 7 can enjoy these features, too.

Unlocking slow motion and burst mode on the iPhone 5 requires two packages to be installed from Cydia. These are appropriately named Slo-mo Mod and Burst Mode. The developer notes that in order for Slo-mo Mod to work, the Burst Mode tweak must also be installed. Getting these iPhone 5s camera improvements is simple once the iPhone 5 is jailbroken with evasion.

Several battery-related jailbreak tweaks for your iPhone/iPad have been recently released and are worthy of mention. BatterySafe will help you avoid draining your battery to the point of shutdown, while Alkaline and NCBattery are cosmetic tweaks for your battery icon.

One thing that hasn't changed much in iOS 7 is powering down the iPhone. Holding the sleep/wake button reveals a red slider with the text "slide to power off". Swiping from left to right will power down the device. Now thanks to developer HASHBANG Productions, additional sliders can be added to the power off display.

New sliders added by the free tweak RePower consist of a yellow "slide to reboot" slider and green "slide to respring". The options are especially useful for jailbreakers, since there are times when tweak settings require a respring, but not a full reboot. RePower also features some settings to customize its behavior.

In some cases Notification Center stops working properly after jailbreaking iOS 7 with evasi0n. Items in the Today view might disappear, including the current weather which normally appears when Notification Center is displayed. The good news is there's an easy fix to correct the problem.

If you've noticed the Today tab in Notification Center is blank, follow these steps to bring weather back after jailbreaking. First, make sure the Notification Center settings are configured properly to display the weather widget. If current weather information is still missing after checking these settings, perform the fix on your jailbroken device.
