Putting your phone down at night can be a hard thing to do, especially if you are constantly bombarded with messages, emails and other notifications. While Do Not Disturb silences notifications, you will still see them pop up if you are using your iPhone for something else like reading an e-book or a web page before closing your eyes for the night, and sometimes all it takes is one pesky notification to send you down a rabbit hole for the next half hour or so. iOS 12 introduces a Bedtime Mode for Do Not Disturb that will block notifications from showing while you are using your iPhone.

Live Listen makes it possible to enhance sound using the iPhone or iPad microphone. The feature has been available for iPhone owners with Made for iPhone certified hearing aids for some time. With the launch of iOS 12, Apple has expanded Live Listen to work with AirPods as well.

Those who are signed up for Apple's Beta Software Program and testing iOS 12 may have noticed that it offers a new way to share photos - by sharing a direct link to your iCloud Photos that will last for 30 days. Not all features found in beta make it to the official iOS, but hopefully this one will, as it pretty useful for sending multiple photos.
